This program is: open only for domestic adoption

Although Argentina has no current provision for international adoption, this information is provided for U.S. citizens who permanently reside in Argentina who wish to adopt Argentine children, and those who have a connection to adoptions completed in the past, or other family connections to Argentina. Argentina is a party to the Hague Adoption Convention. In 2011, one child was adopted from Argentina.
